This was my favorite accomodation in our over 2 weeks of travel through Austria and Switzerland. The view from the 2 private balconies on the 2nd floor was incredible. We really appreciated the space, the washing machine (which worked perfectly), the comfort of the beds (2 twins located together so function as a king bed.) The owner met us on arrival and gave us the keys and a short overview of what was what in the apartment. Wengen is a lovely and quiet place where one can enjoy the beauty of the earth. I will never forget our stay in this beautiful city and would definitely rent this place again should we return. Thanks to Rebecca and Will for making us feel welcome.

This place is absolutely incredible! The location was fabulous and the views are breathtaking! I loved having 2 balconies and being so close to the train station. We absolutely loved our stay here and were so sad to leave! The staff is so nice and helpful. I just can't say enough about how amazing our stay was.

It’s a really cool place with nice restaurant and bar and a beautiful spa. Great price to value for our trip. The location is great, too. 2 min walk from the train station and 1 minute to gondola - hard to beat this.

It was one of the best views ever from a room I stayed in. Wengen is amazing and Hotel Alpenruhen's location is excellent. You can see the entire Lauterbrunnen valley below. Hotel is 12 mins of train ride from Lauterbrunen and then a 7-8 min slight uphill walk from Wengen train station. They pick you up and drop you off at check in and check out which is very nice. The room is spacious, modern and luxurious. Breakfast area is comfortable and food was delicious.

The location was perfect. The room is small but it was all I needed and as shown in the photos. Some people said the hotel was old, and it is, but there is not really any problem. It was clean also. I would come back definitely!

It is a perfect location. Easy access to rail station, yet you don’t hear the train. Nice kitchen to prepare your meals and easy access to the grocery store. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked great.

The location is stunning! And it was such a comfortable and clean place to stay. We loved the large deck and the hiking in the area. Peter is a terrific host. We really enjoyed all the lovely landscaping around the house.

Three balconies with spectacular views. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was right next to the train station, in the heart of the town. Hosts were highly responsive and clear in all their guidance and suggestions.

The room was newly renovated, clean and perfectly equipped. Small, but adequate and very typical of European accommodations. Hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and facilities (restaurant, laundry and breakfast) were excellent.

This room had the best view of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about Wengen. The steep up hill walk to the train was hard the first time but got better and always worth it. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner at their restaurant twice and it was fabulous. The rooms were clean, not large and the bathroom was very small but otherwise perfect accommodations. The hotel was very convenient to all the trams and trains. Loved the view from our balcony, the food and this beautiful village of Wengen.
