Heather laid out breakfast foods the night before. For my particular night, it included a fresh pineapple, granola, milk, coffee, croissants. Thank you SO much for allowing me to do laundry before I boarded the ferry the next morning! That made life a lot easier. I would have had to wear my cleanest, dirty.... ____ for the 3.5 hour port ride + 8 hour drive to Auckland. :-) Also 30 minutes to the Ferry in Picton with a much better price for accommodations! The dog barks a little bit (harmless), but very friendly each time you get to know him. ;-)

She even shared fruit from her garden with is for breakfast. Room clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this BnB to all.

We had a wonderful experience at the 14th Lane Urban Hotel. The location is perfect: right next to everything, with a parking lot close by. The room was so comfortable and functional, containing everything we could probably wish for, and beautifully designed. But above all the owners, are super communicative and nice. Vicky especially, came back late to meet us, since we arrived after hours. When we asked about laundry, she simply asked us to bring it over, and within a couple of hours we got everything back clean. Its the small things that show care and made a huge difference for us. Thank you Vicky!

Excellent location - nestled away from the main road and facing a beautiful vineyard. Communication with Liz was excellent all along the process. Unit was very clean and kitchen utensils and cookware were very cleanl. The heat source for the entire living area is a space heater/faux fireplace in the living room. For the most part, adequate heat was distributed. However, it might be good during colder months to have a separate space heater in the bedroom. Also, I should have read the property description a bit closer in that there is a washer but no dryer. We did resort to hanging wash on the line outside to dry and made it through okay!
