The owners are incredibly kind people. They made my visit a great one. I’m riding my bicycle around Thailand and they even get up early in the morning to buy some food for me to take as I was leaving at 6:15 AM. Their breakfasts are legendary. Instead of Western meal, They provided traditional Thai food. They also gave lots of advice on what to see and do in Phetchaburi.

Our experience at Elephant View Camp was simply breathtaking. The view was spectacular, and the encounters with the animals were magical. The staff and owners were exceptional in every way – from start to finish, the service was personal, professional, and effortless "feeling like home". A special highlight was our day in the national park with the manager, “Best.” His guidance was informative, warm, and engaging – we couldn’t have imagined anyone better. The food at the restaurant was incredibly delicious and homemade. The two staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more perfect.

Canadian family of four, needing a break (and fresh air) from Bangkok. We had a wonderful time at the Vala and felt welcomed from the second we arrived. I had sent a text ahead of time indicating that I had to follow a very complicated and strict medical diet due to cancer complications. The minute we arrived to our room, a staff member (P’Jib) from the restaurant came to see us and seek details about the diet. I was told that they would absolutely accommodate and they did, for 3 meals a day during the entire stay. The food was wonderful and I felt welcomed by all staff the entire time. To think that I had almost cancelled the trip because of this strict diet, assuming that the hotel would not want or be able to cater to this added complications. This place is a gem, so is P’Jib (I hope I am spelling her name correctly!) and all the staff at the restaurant, the reception desk and the cleaning crew. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to see P’Jib on our final day there in order to hug her one more time and let her know how much her kindness meant to me, (it was more than about the great food), and that her level of empathy for the difficult health journey I was on had been a breath of fresh air.

Baan Maka Nature Lodge ตั้งอยู่ในอำเภอแก่งกระจาน ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติแก่งกระจานประมาณ 5 กม. และห่างจากทะเลสาบบริเวณเขื่อนแก่งกระจาน 9 กม. Very nice place, very relaxing, rich in plant and wild life!
