The Staff of this property is outstanding. Upon our early arrival, we were given directions into the town, where we were able to enjoy a nice breakfast at The Green Mango. We were also advised it was the last night for viewing the phenomenon known as The staircase to the Moon. Lucia et al also suggested the best place to watch was at the Mangrove Hotel. Our cell phones were not working throughout our entire 3 week trip, so they were kind enough to make local calls for us.

Luckily for me and my family Broome is second hometown for us! Our stay was short; we wanted to stay longer but of course returned home. We ate at Broome Town Beach a favourite of ours, there you will find a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere! There is also a Water Park there for children, but we adults can't help ourselves at times especially at these times of the year when it gets warmer! Thank you, Broome!

Broome is smaller than I thought and very hot and humid.

Broome is smaller than I thought and very hot and humid. We were there is mid September. We did get a nice cooler breeze in the late afternoon. The shopping was very basic, not a huge variety of shops. You need to show photo ID when purchasing any sort of alcohol from a bottle shop. This ID is scanned as I understand there is a limit on the amount of alcohol you can purchase in a day. The people were very friendly and helpful. The colour of the sea is amazing as was the height of the tides. Town Beach was a lovely cool spot to sit and look over the sea and many people were swimming there.

I loved Broome!

I loved Broome! The weather was nice and warm, and everyone I met was super friendly. It was easy to get around town by taxi (which was a bit expensive) or by the town circuit Transperth bus service. I love to walk long distances so whilst I stayed at Cable Beach town was an easy 1 hour walk away. If you can afford to and/or get the chance to do the Horizontal Falls seaplane adventure you must do it. Swimming up close but protected, whist they fed the tawny nurse sharks was brilliant. Plenty of amazing history here too, and lots of wildlife and birds for anyone interested.

Broome has lovely weather, and it is a short drive to anywhere in the town. WE enjoyed a plane trip to hidden gorges with Broome Aviation, the highlight of our trip. We stayed too long, 6 days would be ideal maximum, we stayed 11. WE ran out of things to do, and it is quite expensive in Broome. The museum is well worth a visit, and a walk along the foreshore is awesome. Also Gantheaume Point is well worth a visit.
