Just 5 minutes’ drive from Broome town centre and Town Beach, McAlpine House offers free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and an outdoor pool. This is a beautiful, laid-back boutique hotel. The grounds are gorgeous with a pool, very nice seating and parrots for entertainment. The manager et al, Reynaldo, could not have been more helpful. I would not stay anywhere else in Broome.
Located among tropical gardens with stunning views over Roebuck Bay, Mangrove Hotel offers a variety of accommodations types and a choice of 2 restaurants and 2 outdoor swimming pools. property was great,,we were under the weather so could not take full advantage, but looked great
Located within close walking distance to the heart of Broome, this hotel offers quality accommodations with excellent leisure facilities, just a 10-minute drive from Cable Beach. Courtney at reception was amazing 10/10 for all around efficiency, manners, customer service, and knowledge of Broome. Nothing was too much trouble. Also noticed her tidying up outside the hotel 💐. Josie and the breakfast staff at the Conti were also great. Thank you 💛
The Courthouse Bed & Breakfast is located in Broome, 2.5 mi from Cable Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The Courthouse team (Marilyn, Carla & Judie) gave us a great welcome and really made us feel at home. They offer a pick-up/drop-off service to the airport, which is a real bonus. Breakfast time presents a great opportunity to mix with other guests and compare travel agendas/ideas, and the fresh fruit is prepared on the day. Delicious! The Courthouse is walking distance from the weekly Saturday market (just over the road), local restaurants & China Town.
This stylish backpacker resort is just 820 feet from the famous Cable Beach and offers free continental breakfast. You can relax in the outdoor pool or enjoy a game of pool at the bar. This property over delivered on my relatively low expectations! It’s a bit more like a hostel. That said, we stayed here twice. The first time in a private room/shared bath; the second time in a private room with en suite bathroom. While the latter was reasonably spacious with a very clean and modern bathroom, the shared bath facilities were quite reasonable as well.
Located within a 20-minute walk from the white sands of Cable Beach and an array of restaurants and cafes, Mantra Frangipani Broome offers a variety of fully self-contained 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom... This place was lovely the pool was close by and units are separate. Short walk to Cable beach. Great place
The Billi Cable Beach offers holiday villas with fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower and private patio with barbecue. All have access to the gardens and swimming pool. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out the stay was perfect. We arrived early and were able to relax by the pool until our villa was ready. The villa was spotless with everything you could possibly need and more. The outside shower was a great touch and much needed, considering we had been living in dust for the past weeks. When asking nicely, we even got a late check out as my partner had an overseas interview. Can not fault anything about the entire place!
Bali Hai Resort offers self-contained studios and villas, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the white sands of Cable Beach. Guests can relax at the day spa or in the large outdoor swimming pool. The property is a wonderful home away from home. Clean very roomy lots of features to help you enjoy your stay with outdoor BBQ area & fully equipped kitchen with the BBQ as your oven. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when back in Broome we will indeed be staying again
Just 1969 feet from Cable Beach, Blue Seas offers luxurious self-contained apartments with a private balcony. The resort features free Wi-Fi, 2 hot tubs and 2 heated swimming pools. Clean well presented room, great location, nice pool, manager super helpful

As they used to say...."Slip into Broome time", - life in the North West is quite different, - and in many ways Broome is the pride of W.A. Given it's history Broome now has many people of various blended racial descent and a level of harmonious interaction that we find very endearing. Not all indigenous people in Broome have a roof over their heads at night so there is a way to go, but it is evident to me, having been coming here for many years that some progress is being made. Whilst quite remote, the place seems to be on the up and up development wise, and (to a much lesser extent) Noosa/Gold Coast style development in the future seems to be a risk for those of us that like it real.
I love a short trip to Broome. It's the perfect break from Perth winter. Enough space to relax, or things to do if you wana keep busier. I love cable beach, just being able to spread out and not be right on top of your neighbours. Restaurants can be expensive but I only go for short trips anyway.
Loved the sunsets at Cable Beach, lots of interesting history around the pearling past of Broome, easy to get around, plenty of variety for eating out. Weather wonderful. Great tours available to different parts of the Kimberley which are a "must do". Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days in Broome and 5 days on a Kimberley Wild Expedition to the Bungle Bungles.
Really felt like I was on holiday. Very relaxing and never felt pressure to do anything. It is cheap enough if you are not a 'princess' and can get cheap flights. The beach, sun and spectacular scenery are free!
Cable Beach swim and walk and sunsets Matso's - great beer and food with a view over Roebuck Bay from the verandah Broome Historical Museum 12 Mile Bird park Court House markets Sat and Sun. Hire a car for ease of getting around in the heat. Watch out for the easterly wind and sand flies.
We had a good time over two nights two days but really a place for the young. Cable beach OK also watching sunsets but nothing to see outside of Broome township unless you pick up a tour which is very expensive. Alright for the grey nomads as they can just sit around the caravan park and relax i suppose.

It's unique Broome architecture, eclectic decor and extensive landscaped grounds creates a peaceful, cool oasis. The history of the property and the friendly welcome also contribute to the feeling that Pinctada McAlpine House is a very special place. The quality of the breakfast was excellent in both its presentation and ingredients. The dining area and the many sitting areas are also relaxing and beautiful. You feel like you are in a very special home not a hotel.

We just ended a week stay at Cocos and were so sad to leave. The facilities at Cocos is beautiful and the bungalow was lovely as we enjoyed our evening dinners on the gorgeous patio. The pool was perfect for the kids. Yes the grounds were beautiful and the location couldn’t be better but what made the trip so special was Terry and Angela’s hospitality. Thanks to those two they helped us navigate our new surroundings and booked us excursions that otherwise turned out to be sold out for so many other travelers. They offered so much advice and recommendations which made our trip exceed every expectation. My kids would also like me to mention that they surprised us and made us 4th of July cupcakes because they knew with us being American that was a big celebration. We hope to make it back but encourage future travelers to stay at Cocos. You won’t be disappointed.

Firstly, your staff are absolutely awesome!!! The new little red haired girl in the bar. She was amazing. All the staff were amazing. Even the housekeeping. We got upgraded and the room was like being up in a bird’s nest. We loved it! Food amazing... beer cold... great choice of wines ... say no more. Will be going back to the Gold Coast singing your praises. Thank you for an awesome mini holiday!! Regards Ian and Janette
