Trish, the front desk clerk was pleasant and very helpful. She was very informative and went the extra mile for us and everyone else. I appreciated her help with the washer and advice about Hilton points. We had a delicious breakfast—bagels, bacon, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and pancakes. The style of this hotel is user friendly for families—pool, foosball and bright colours. Very funky! I loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Conveniently located in the town of Yarmouth, Lakelawen Motel is just steps from Lake Milo and a 5-minute drive from the Yarmouth Ferry Terminal. We had the 1 bedroom suite, the kitchen was nice. Liked the built-in ice maker on the fridge. Water pressure in the shower was good..backyard area was cute, and private.couch was comfy.

This was one of the best stays I had during my trip to Nova Scotia. I was welcomed with so much warmth by Beatrice and George. The B&B is located in such a beautiful area, overlooking the water. It was lovely to sit on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the sun set. The room was very spacious with a large bed, and had a stunning view towards the water. I had a great night sleep.
