The rooms were actually individual cottages that seemed either newly constructed or perfectly maintained. Everything was clean, inside and out, shower and air conditioner worked great.

Just less than a mile from the city center of Mae Hong Son and 1640 feet from the walking street, Jasmin Resort features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking.

This is truly one of the best places we've stayed in all of our travels. The beautiful Thai-style architecture and the garden setting with a pond are gorgeous. The rooms are huge and very nicely decorated. The best thing, though, is Jasmin, the owner, who goes far out of her way to take care of her guests. She puts out fruit, cookies, crackers and water every morning and is always available for anything you need help with. It's a bit of a walk to town -- about 15 minutes -- but the location is quiet and peaceful and well worth the effort. In the winter, her American husband Frank builds a fire every night (when he's not away on business), and guests have a chance to socialize with him and each other. It was a very fun and enjoyable place to stay.

Everything was nice. The owner was super friendly. Coffee and toast for breakfast was more than ok. I would stay here again.

The toiletries in the bathroom were very limited and nothing near any resort i know. Menu was also very limited and kitchen closes at 7pm.
