Loved that the parking was free and gated. The building’s security is top notch. The elevators are super fast and it is in an absolute prime location. We went there to see the campus but also had tickets to go to the colonial life Arena and it was approximately a mile away less than five minutes by Uber! Only cost $6.60 You could actually walk. The bed in the master was so incredibly comfortable. The giant wide screen TV, two of them were perfection! The outdoor space is cozy yet private overall just an excellent experience I would highly recommend.
The host was amazing and answered our questions immediately! Place was tidy neat while decorated well appointed and perfect for our stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

My job originally booked us at another hotel and it was scary and disgusting and nobody wanted to stay there. So I went off and got my own hotel and I had stayed here last time and loved it. I was able to sleep and comfort, especially being a woman traveling by myself alone. And the staff are super nice and helpful. Also, I love that there is a laundry facility so I can wash my scrubs and other clothes. I really like this hotel and will be back.

Fairfield Suites it's behind Home Depot on 2 nortch Rd, Columbia SC.
The hotel is very, very clean and very super friendly staff and great parking.

Older town has most of what you need.
Older town has most of what you need. Located near bigger areas so travel was 15 mins to most things. Nice to be out of the crazy Cloumbia traffic but close enough to enjoy shopping and venues Cloumbia.

We were there for a basketball tournament that was close by...
We were there for a basketball tournament that was close by so only stayed one night. Had dinner at San Jose Mexican Restaurant but I must say I wouldn't recommend it although they were very busy. We also checked The Villages at Springhill which was a shopping area but there was a lot of closed buildings in there that had been condemned because of structural and mold issues. There were still stores and restaurants in there that were open. We had lunch at The Tap House that was very good.

Before checking in 8/3 Booking.com did not respond to my many requests to cancel day 8/5 and refund me my money. We checked out 5AM 8/4 still no response from Booking.com regarding my refund!
Cayce's walkways are filthy and stained, The ice machine in the check in office had dirt and what seems to be liquid mold growing in it, The pillowcases were clean. however, the stench from the pillow themselves was unbearable, terrible stench, I requested two additional towels from the front desk and was refused. Two towels haw to do for my son, two grandsons and I. We found toilet tissue that was enough for one use.

People were pleasant and helpful! Visit a USC basketball or USC football game for superb entertainment! The fans are very loyal, almost as loyal as UK basketball fans from Kentucky! SEC is the most entertaining league in college sports bar none!

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which is an excellent stop even for a short time. Gas and food options are good in immediate vicinity of the intersection of I-26. Traffic through Columbia can be brutal so if you're traveling east-to-west and staying overnight it might be better to get a place on the west side of the city. For some reason the prices of all lodging in and around Columbia seem inflated for what you get... even on the discount sites.
