It was a cold day and night in Bendigo but I was snug in Room 3 which is on the ground floor. I hate being overly hot but the heating was perfect for me. Plus there was a door dog to block out any draughts coming through the main door. Bed was comfortable. I did wonder how noisy it would get in warmer months with the tables and chairs outside the room. I've had lunch at Wine Bank on a previous visit to Bendigo so I knew food was good and thoroughly enjoyed Mexican dinner this time.

The bungalow is in a secluded garden area accessible by a winding path, giving it a special feel. The host was very accommodating of our kids, and in the morning she facilitated feeding the animals (sheep, chickens, dog) and sent us off with some fresh produce. The kids really enjoyed this experience.

For our needs the location was good and the place was private. Great facilities such as washing machine and dryer.

Loved the location, the vibe, the spa, the cosy lounge! Delightful place, and was very glad to have something so nice where I could also bring the dog! Pet fee is $30 per pet which seems reasonable. Huge variety of breakfast food included too, and the voucher for local pubs was a nice touch.
