What a cute and cosy place to stay! Loved how close we were to the animals on the farm and in a great location for nice walks. The owners helped me find the place as my satnav didn't do a good job and nothing was too much trouble 😊thank you both X

Had fully serviced apartment, warm and cozy, great hostess. Friendly and real Pub Atmosphere, friendly and great clientele. Close to everything, we were able to walk all of Kidsgrove and local Buttlane Clough Hall where my brother and I grew up. Even the house where my brother was born, as well as visit all the local sites important to us. It was well located, with access in all directions. Walking distance from Railway Station, and close to all amenities very close by. Pub had great friendly atmosphere, and we met some great local Kidsgrovians. It felt like we had never left the area, we were really made welcome. Jenna was fantastic, and we even got to meet her family. Barkeepers were terrific, friendly and true sports. Allowing us to share our love of Australia, and the grand list of our wildlife and their need to visit down-under. I have never seen so many doppelgangers in one space. And even one for Ned Kelly our famous Bush Ranger in Glenrowan Victoria where I live. We had left our summer in Australia, so the double glazing and heating were greatly appreciated. And they all welcomed us bring our Aussie Sunshine to there shores, the weather was excellent and we were sad to leave although ready for home. Thanks Jenna and the crew for a memorable stay, and some fond memories to look back on. Paul And Stephen, the Intrepid Aussie explorers from the Land Down Under :-)

The accommodation is actually quite easy to find - the owners description of how to get there and how to get in, was very thorough (though we never actually met the owners). The time we spent here was just lovely - peace and quiet, lovely views, nature on the doorstep (on our first evening we watched a Short-Eared Owl, and another day we had a pair of Curlew in the field opposite - birdwatching was one of our primary reasons for the visit). The only thing I'd advise is that it will take some time and a few bumps to get used to the low ceiling! Everything went exceptionally smoothly, and we had a great time. Oh, by the way; the food at the nearby 'Winking Man' is very nice, and the staff and atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

The Hide Away is a great self catering pod tucked away from the Farm shop and had a little post and rail yard with out door table and chairs looking onto a small field. A small kitchenette to cook if required and can purchase food in the shop. The cafe and farm shop on site a brilliant. Probably the best full English breakfast I have had. I would not hesitate to stay again. and great value. Also other little shops to purchase a variety of things on site. PS take your tea/coffee things if required.
