The room was small but perfectly fine for a one-night stay while exploring the Golden Circle. The kitchenette was well-equipped and spotless. When we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the stove, we called the property and they helped us immediately - very friendly and efficient. The location is quiet and calm, with just a short drive down a gravel road. A good, restful stop before continuing our journey.

I liked the location, it's right in the golden circle, Gullfoss is only 40 min drive away. The room and washroom were really clean, it had a nice lavender scent. The kitchen is full equipped with stove, mini fridge, sink, microwave oven, pots and pans, cutlery, dinnerware and kitchen utensils. The access to the room is really convenient, the host will message the access code to the front door. Only thing to take into consideration, if you need to get groceries, to need to drive to Selfoss or to Fludir. If you're lucky as we were, this is the perfect place to watch the Auroras. Parking is free.

Very comfortable little cozy house like the listing says. For our travel plans it was a great central location, allowing us to use it as a "home base" for 3 nights. We came down after spending the day in the golden ring area, followed by a day out to Heimaey island, and they a day going out to Thorsmork (caught the shuttle in Hella). Comfortable bed, very clean, and included a small kitchen for preparing breakfast the mornings we were there.
