We had a wonderful stay in ‘Il Nido di Ceriana’, it was a perfect location for a quiet getaway, but still only a short distance away from the town of Sanremo. The apartment has been tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a stay. We loved the way it is set in the cliff and the views from the lounge/kitchen area are breathtaking. What a way to start the day by looking out on the lush hillside. The bed was very comfortable, and we couldn’t fault the cleanliness of everywhere. We didn’t have a car and so glad we didn’t bother, the buses are reliable and easy to get into Sanremo to catch a train, which are far more reliable that the UK! Our hosts were fantastic, friendly, funny, and helpful, and we used their services to return to the airport, which took any stress out of making sure we got there on time (despite the reliability of local transport) Everyone we came across in the village was super friendly and they all say Ciao/Buongiorno etc. when you walk past them. Ceriana is exceptionally tranquil and has a magical charm that pulls you in and makes you want to stay, so we will definitely be back.
