LihuePali Kai Cottage 17 A, Ocean Bluff, Nawiliwili is located in Lihue, just 1.7 miles from Niumalu Beach and 6.9 miles from Lydgate State Park.Guest reviewThe view became more exceptional as we noticed more things happening in the bay: outrigger canoe and regular canoe races, sailboat races, surfers, foil (motorized surfboard) surfers, beach volleyball games, and large cruise ships (two during the week we were there). This location is in the flight path of the helicopter excursions to Kauai’s highlights so expect noise in the morning. No worries about being awakened by them. The roosters which are everywhere on the island will awaken you much earlier than when the helicopters begin flying. The unit has been partially upgraded within the past few years so that the kitchen seemed more modern than the rest of the unit although there was NO dishwasher. There were lots of spices and condiments (including olive and sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey), rice, and oatmeal. The shower stall was nicely tiled and the “wood” floor relatively new. The windows/doors looking out onto the patio were relatively new (mini blinds inside double pane glass).

THE ROOM WAS GREAT! I REALLY ENJOYED THE VIEW FROM THE BALCONY! THE VIEW WAS ALL LUSH, GREEN GRASS & ROLLING HILLS AND ACREGE WITH MORE CHICKENS, HORSES & COWS! I LOVE ANIMALS! THE POOLS WERE JUST AMAZING! I also ENJOYED THE HOT POOLS! THE LIVE MUSIC EACH EVENING THAT I WAS THERE WAS EXCELLENT!
