When I booked the hotel, I went in with very high expectations of the hotel based on the pictures and other reviews. Yet, it exceeded all those expectations. The 1-bedroom apartment is a thing of beauty. Well, the entire hotel is a thing of beauty, to be honest. You have everything you need - super clean apartment, amazing views, all the essentials you are going to need for a short stay and more. The staff is friendly and welcoming too. But the highlight of this facility is the artistic touches they have everywhere - you'll feel like you have walked into a museum. It's a thing of art and you can feel the classiness waft all over the hotel. And it is amazing value for money. You'd be paying 2 or 3 times more if you want to find something similar in the City. We had an amazing stay and I'd highly recommend booking this hotel if you are looking for something close to Akureyri.

The room was spacious, the hosts were very friendly and we were allowed to use the hot tub. The location of the guesthouse was very peaceful as well. The value of the room was good, especially given the average price of a one-night stay in Iceland. This was by far the cheapest stay we’ve had while traveling here, even though this was the only place in which we were offered a private bathroom. Altogether, it was a great experience.

The apartment was stunning. It was the most modern, well equipped place we stayed on our ring road tour of Iceland. There is a full refrigerator, a full washer and a dryer. The owner came out to greet us during the northern lights show and we couldn't have enjoyed the water view, hot tub dip, and overall experience more. This is a first rate, top notch, exceptional property.
