Wbhat a wonderful place. We arrived late at night. The host arranged a taxi pickup from the airport. He stayed up for us and showed us everything. The breakfast next morning was very delicious. Altogether a very nice stay with a very friendly family.

Felt like a home away from home. Love that 3 of 4 rooms has attached bathrooms and that all rooms come with AC. The kitchen is nice and clean while having enough plates and cups for the family to use.

Hosts are really great, they treat you like a family member. One can really get lost into the authentic taste of Kerala food made by Sheela aunty. It was an amazing experience and we'll definitely visit again when in the city.

We loved the location as we'd both arrived in India from very busy lives and the calm and rural outlook at this time of year was simply stunning. From the balcony outside our room we experienced mongooses playing, squirrels and a woodpecker (?) in the coconut palms, fishing boat lights out to sea, and the call to prayer from the mosque at the bottom of the hill beside the beach. The facilities were basic and not the cleanest, but the bedding was clean and the shower good which is all that is required. There is a restaurant beside the guesthouse with an extensive menu, but being off season not everything was available. We had freshly squeezed fruit juices, and ate elsewhere. Once you get your bearings, it is an easy and safe walk both day and night up the dirt road to a main road with many food options. We also discovered the main tourist beach with many options and also lots of hawkers. This place is very definitely for people who are physically able, as getting to it involves some walking on uneven terrain and up/down a hill depending on which direction you come from. The offer to contact the caretaker was made in advance and we didn't take advantage of that until our taxi driver refused to travel any further - I recommend calling first! We would have gone to the entrance mosque side instead of the Google maps suggestion. There is someone to carry your bag. Ensure you have mosquito repellent at this time of year if you want to sit outside.

The "palace" is really gorgeous. Very exotic, colorful, really interesting furnishings. Very "Indian". Super convenient to the airport. It's family-run, so I got to meet the whole family. Teen-aged children super enthusiastic, helpful, very fun. They ordered a meal for me - egg curry, which was delicious.

Exceptionally clean homestay, it's more than a resort the quality of rooms, amenities in bathroom and the hosts. They are the heart of this place♥️ the staffs are well trained and everyone is pleasant and eager to help you, and took an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The food is another highlight of our stay everything is slow cooked authentic and carefully prepared according to our request. We are returning soon. Thank you Bijoy and Aleena!!

the owners are the epitome of excellent customer service. they go beyond to make you feel like home, always with a smile. they even drove me 45 min away to buy something I needed and didn’t charge me anything for it. I ordered something online and they made sure it was delivered on time. every time I needed to call somewhere they would speak to them for me to avoid language barriers. chai was always available, the greatest chat and the biggest smile, always. place is super clean, and it’s 10 steps away from a great beach. I wish I could’ve stayed longer
