This property truly exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool overlooking the breathtaking scenery was an absolute highlight. We especially appreciated the courtesy staff who went above and beyond to make my brother's birthday a memorable occasion. As a vegetarian family, we were initially concerned about dining options. However, the kitchen staff were incredibly accommodating, creating delicious and healthy breakfast alternatives that surpassed our expectations. The property itself is teeming with wildlife, with numerous birds and animals spotted throughout our stay.

Beautiful villa with a gorgeous swimming pool. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We loved the family - they were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal that we ate at the villa. We also really loved the village, and the walk through the village to the beach, seeing every day Sri Lanka life.

This was easily one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed, made even more special by Damith—the kindest, most hospitable host! When my husband and I stumbled upon this place, we knew it would be the perfect getaway for our anniversary trip. It looks exactly like the pictures—tucked away in lush greenery, down a quiet little alley in Talpe. You’d never expect a spot this peaceful, surrounded by nature, to be so close to the beach! We walked everywhere, and whenever we wanted to venture further, Damith helped us find a reliable tuk-tuk driver. Speaking of Damith—when I mentioned it was our anniversary, he messaged saying he would “arrange something.” We arrived to find the hut where breakfast is served decorated with balloons wishing us a happy anniversary! He even got us a cake to celebrate, which made our trip feel even more special. And the breakfasts he whips up every morning? Incredible. From traditional Sri Lankan dishes like egg hoppers to continental options, everything was delicious. My favorite was his omelets—I looked forward to them every morning. There’s also another villa right next to this one, which Damith had just opened in December 2024. We got a chance to take a look, and it’s absolute perfection as well! We always love staying in places like this—ones created with love by the locals themselves. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very responsible price and quite new property and very clean and peaceful also close to the Main city

Our time at Kaju Green Eco Lodges was truly unforgettable. It’s an ideal retreat for anyone seeking a serene, high-end experience immersed in nature. The moment we stepped onto the property, it felt like entering a peaceful haven. Surrounded by vibrant greenery and filled with the sounds of birds, the setting is beautifully tranquil. It offers complete privacy and feels far removed from the daily rush, yet it’s equipped with all the essentials. The accommodations are breathtaking-spacious, elegantly designed, and wonderfully upscale, all while harmonizing perfectly with the eco-friendly surroundings. Every element feels premium and thoughtfully chosen. It’s the ultimate spot to relax and recharge. Additionally, the resort offers fantastic activities, allowing you to unwind or stay active and enrich your visit with experiences like kayaking through the mangroves, enjoying massages on-site, practicing yoga, and savoring delicious meals. If you’re after a quiet escape that blends comfort, nature, and refinement, this destination is a must. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Love the place and definitely come back

Wega villa is very nice, cozy and comfortable place with friendly staff and calm situation. It is locate in 40 minutes for a walk distance from Unawatuna, but nearby are shops, grocery and other points. In 15 minutes for a walk distance is 2200 years Temple. In 25 minutes on a walk distance is very good place for Ioga and massages. Also, you can fishing over the river, cause villa locate across the river. Swimming pool is clear and very nice to have good time.

The property was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, the pool and garden were relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and perfect for a quiet getaway.

WhyHouse is exceptional – and the difference is in how it’s run. The staff make you feel like a guest in their home rather than a customer, which takes the place from very good to genuinely memorable. The food is excellent (the set evening menu is the right call), the room is spacious and well-appointed, and the small touches – books in the room, multi-plug sockets, reusable water bottles – show that real thought has gone into the experience. Easily the best stay I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I’ll be back.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Beautiful old house in the countryside. Comfortable rooms and well kept gardens. The staff here are friendly and very helpful and the Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious.. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay at Ishq Talpe My family and I spent 3 amazing days at Ishq Talpe in Sri Lanka, and it was truly a memorable experience. A big thank you to Manager *Nishantha* and the entire team for their excellent service, professionalism, and for respecting our privacy. The villa is stunning, with an excellent location, spacious and beautifully kept rooms that made our stay so enjoyable. The private pool with sea views was the perfect spot to relax. What stood out most was how attentive and accommodating the team was — they never said “no” to any request and went the extra mile for us. The surprise dessert they prepared was a lovely touch and really made our stay special. The food was outstanding throughout, and we felt genuinely cared for. We’d highly recommend Ishq Talpe to anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.

Everything was absolutely beautiful and so well organized from the moment we arrived until we left. The villa was spotless, and there was always a lovely fresh flower scent throughout the place. Our room was very clean, and we really loved the private pool and the outdoor bathroom — such a beautiful touch! We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay, and the best part? It felt like the whole villa was just for us 😂🌿 Definitely a place we would love to come back to!
