The place is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing, and the rooms are wide and clean. That said, the truly amazing thing about this place is the owners and staff, who have been unusually friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back again.

I cannot walk far or climb stairs easily do to a medical issue. Reception went absolutely out of their way to make sure I was given a room that was easily accessible. 10 out of 10 for them! The pool staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. Though the rooftop pool was in maintenance during our stay, we could use the neighboring hotel's pool, which is not a problem for us. The staff, from those at reception to housekeeping, are all very friendly and helpful. There are numerous restaurant selections nearby.

the location right on the beach and a private pool was awesome

It was our second time in a pool access room. Beautiful room. Well worth the extra price to have pool access, so nice. Staff so kind and helpful. The location is perfect, the way it sets back off of the road makes it quiet and more personal. The breakfast is good. We went early four days and selection was great. The one day we went later, many items were gone and it was very crowded.

It was my second stay in the Wekata, the rooms and the neighborhood seems so home for me now. Like the hotel, the location and Kata town in general. 90% probability I'll stay here for my next trip to Phuket.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and amazing staff. Situated between two stunning beaches—Kata Beach and Karon Beach, both just a 10-minute walk away—you couldn’t ask for a better spot. Plus, shops, restaurants, and bars are all around. The pool, while it might have seen better days, was still a relaxing spot to unwind. Our room was spacious, offered a beautiful view, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was decent, though nothing extraordinary. A special shoutout to Fat, one of the receptionists, who truly made our stay memorable. He was incredibly friendly, always willing to help, and had such a cool vibe. Thanks, Fat, for making our experience even better!

I booked this very last minute because my hotel in Karon was very noisy at night and I couldn't sleep and I had to find somewhere new immediately. I messaged kata beachwalk hotel after making the booking requesting the quietest room they had. I arrived almost 2 hours before check in time and they kindly let me check in and because of my request they upgraded me to a bungalow where the staff said was very very quiet. They were so kind and after an awful first night in Phuket in the other hotel, they really brightened my day (and holiday!) the bungalow was big and spacious, the bed was comfortable. It's not super luxurious (the shower is a wet room rather than a separate shower and toilet) but if you're looking for peace and quiet, amazing staff and to be near the beach (2 mins walk!) but away from lots of tourists and busyness this is perfect. They also let me check out an hour later which was great for my late flight. They provide beach towels too which was a great touch.

Super nice restaurant with super cool live music. Cleaning & refreshments as requested.

We loved absolutely everything! Starting from the check in, everything was smooth and we had a warm welcome. The room was great, way more than what we expected. We got the pool access room and it was totally worth it. The staff were amazing, each and every one of them. The breakfast menu is amazing, everything tasted so delicious. The resort is close to the beach (walking distance) and there are many restaurants and bars around. Room service was also good and with a quick delivery. We enjoyed it very much. Definitelly would come back.

A true gem, great find. Simple room with a lot of extras I didn’t expect, big fridge, snacks and drinks, very good location and for great price.
