Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. Clean, organized apartment. The owner provided cleaning/room service every day, including changing towels, filling in coffee/tee. The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

Communication with owner was excellent.

Ubytovanie Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno sa nachádza v Locarne 13 min. A dream villa! I just stayed overnight in the deluxe suite for 3 people in this wonderful villa. The directions received on the day of arrival were very clear. Even a video on how to open the safebox and then the doors left no doubt. I could recognize the building right away. It is an impeccably renovated and upscale privat villa from the last century. High ceilings and blackout curtains. The suite with a huge terrace with beautiful views made us feel we were in an exclusive place. The sofa bed for the third person was comfortable and large even if I wouldn't consider it suitable for 2 adults. Too bad we only stayed one night. We will gladly keep the address for a future stay. We found the price fair and was over 300 francs. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we left early but there would be that option as well

We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).
