The appartment feels very homey and comfortable, it has everything you need for a short or long stay- fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, books, balcony with lake view, its own parking spot… Location was perfect for walks by the lake, but also to reach the town of Lappeenranta by foot. The host was very helpful and responsive, giving us all instructions we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

Easy access to the main points of interest (i.e town centre, train station, bus stations, nature, food stores). Pet-friendly (my dog got a special welcome). Warm flat, comfortable bed, kitchen has all amenities, blackout curtains in the bedroom, easy communication with the hosts. What else to wish for. Definitely a place we would come back to stay in if we go to Savonlinna again!

What a wonderful place on earth! We had an amazing time at Taipaleenniemi and really enjoyed their hospitality. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, we slept well. Having a wood-heated sauna in the evening was a real treat. Breakfast was great. The old part of the house where breakfast is served is beautiful. I especially enjoyed listening to native birds living in the area, including Crex crex and Acrocephalus dumetorum.

Offering a barbecue and views of the lake, Niemilomat is set 13 km from central Varkaus in the Eastern Finland Region. The perfect holiday, perfect surrounding, nice people, clean chalet everything was available.

Lovely location, lots of space at the cottage with all facilities including a/c, good sauna, really nice terrace for chilling or eat outside. Owner had boat engines, bikes, supboards and more for rent. The lake is very clear and full of fish. There were some mosquitoes and horseflies but not too many. The lake is quite shallow and there are big rocks at the bottom.
