We really liked staying at Tombo house. Our room was very spacious and it had AC plus fans (bedroom and balcony) which helped a lot because it was super hot outside. There is also a pool with sunbeds for the guests. The breakfast is in a buffet form so you can pick whatever you like and there is also a bar with drinks and tapas in case you get hungry. Staff was super friendly and helpful ❤️

Loved the serenity of the location, very secluded and tucked away in nature. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very attentive to assist where possible. Flora as the massage therapist is a must!

Stunning place with the most amazing sea view, lovely staff and pool. We stayed a total of 6 nights in two different rooms one was aircon and one was not. The first room we stayed in was at the main Flamboyant house which was our favourite, the rooms are in the same building as the dining area and bar so had a bit more action but it was never loud as bar closes at 10pm which is perfect if you are early risers like us. Water was strong and hot, and there are some real lovely touches like beach towels, lovely artisan soaps, lotions and conditioners (my sun dry hair thanks you). Breakfast is included and is very well prepared, in fact all the food is so good we ate here almost every day and the view of the palm trees and ocean is amazing it never got old. The second room we had was in the building Johari next door, it’s a more secluded quiet building which has a lovely veranda perfect for reading a book and enjoying the view. It didn’t have aircon so we struggled a bit more being used to cold weather, but there are 3 fans in the room one on each side of the bed so it’s pleasant, and once sun is fully set it cools off a bit. The beach has sun loungers which are set just up from the sand so you can rest in peace from any beach boys trying to sell you things, which can get annoying after awhile. Otherwise you can lay by the pool in a number of extremely comfortable beds arranged around. We honestly felt like we were in paradise! Finally a word of mention for the staff, they made excellent drinks (Try the Kenyan dawa it’s fantastic!) greeted with a smile and made our stay very enjoyable. Special thanks to Angie for helping organising our stay and transport as well as Alex on the serving staff who was such a happy soul and always made us smile.

The host, Anne, and the whole crew were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and we loved the fresh fruit and diverse foods at breakfast each morning. The garden and pool were perfect for relaxation - we spent many afternoons lounging by the pool and reading books in the comfortable sun beds. Anne gave us so many great tips on places to visit in the area, from day trips and beaches to excellent restaurants. Her recommendations helped us make the most of our stay in Diani Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Zarafa House and would return if we visit again.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was tasty, but lack variety, if you stay longer time. Room was comfortable with big bed (in our case it was too hard), clean, nice interior, soft bedding and white towels every day. Guarded beautiful beach area with big sunbeds. A wonderful beach with small islands in the ocean that you can walk to at high tide.

The closeness with the nature is super, and it is a very nice place to stay to experience something different than a basic hotel. Also the kindness of the owner is making the stay even more enjoyable. And last but not least, the breakfast is excellent
