Everything about this place was perfect. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable with lovely garden views. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor spaces and the calm atmosphere all around. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay!

Lovely stay run by a very kind couple. Room had everything we needed, comfy bed, fridge and good ac! Kitchen was really well equipped also. Right by the beach and on the main road, ideal location! They also have a sweet little cat who you’ll see running around :) Would definitely recommend!!

The property closeby to the beach. Friendly staff and very good communication with Mohammed. Nice room view comfortable room with comfy bed. Room lighting was good. bathroom was clean good smell. A few restaurants are open nearby. WiFi signal was good. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful cabana’s in a quiet and well maintained garden at almost a private bay. Great airco, ice cold private fridge in the room and even a fan on the terrace. Incredible friendly staff. Great food - breakfast jaffles and banana pancakes, curries and noodles for dinner and the delicious milkshakes

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Stay Golden has been one of our favourite stays of our entire time in Sri Lanka. Beautiful bungalows/apartments, the sweetest staff (our kids still miss them) and delicous and healthy food available from 8 AM until 9 PM. What we really liked was that there were always several families staying here and that the owners was also pretty much always around with their family, it created a nice and homely vibe in which we felt very welcome. Big thanks to Rihan and Angie and we hope to visit again some day!
