Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Lankavatara Ocean Retreat is located in Kalametiya, 15 km from Tangalle Lagoon. The hotel was very nice ending for our Sri Lanka trip. We were travelling for our 10 year wedding anniversary and also my husbands birthday was same day of our anniversary. We spent our last 2 days in this hotel and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was very helpful for our early check-in and late check-out sitations. The pool was very nice and clean, you can enjoy the ocean view and calm atmosphere from the pool. The restaurant and the food was amazing and really tasty. On our last night dinner i just told server Nimesh that its my husbands birthday and i want to make him a surprise little celebration with some candle and other staff. He arranged it very quickly and even they put Happy birthday song at the restaurant and my husband was just wow. Thank you, Nimesh, for this memory! Also the hotel Reception staff team was very kind and helpful, they have arranged a flower bouget surprise for us in the car during our transfer from Mirissa to Tangalle for our wedding anniversary. The room as well was nicely decorated with flowers and welcome amenities for our anniversary. Also in the mornings there was a free yoga lesson with a professional yoga instructor, we attended it and it was amazing to have it on open air. The hotel location as well was super nice, in the evenings we enjoyed amazing sunset view and you could also walk on the long beach. The hotel was just 30 minutes away from Rekawa Turtle watch, which we visited with the advise of the hotel reception and this was one of the best moments of our trips. Overall if you want to have a nice honeymoonlike stay in a resortlike property or a peaceful stay with your family and children, this hotel can be the best choice. Good Karma Hotel is located on Rekawa Beach in Tangalle, offering an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free parking and a 24-hour front desk are available. I cannot recommend Good Karma Resort highly enough! From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The location itself is absolutely stunning – the beachfront setting offers an incredible sense of privacy and tranquility. You genuinely feel like you have an entire stretch of pristine beach to yourselves, which made our time there feel truly special. What really sets Good Karma apart is the exceptional service provided by manager Akila and his outstanding team. Their hospitality went far beyond anything we could have imagined. When I reached out about proposing to my partner, Akila personally helped coordinate every detail – from arranging a secret photographer to capture the moment, to organising a romantic beach dinner that was simply perfect. Also, when my partner fell ill during our stay, Akila immediately assisted us in getting to the hospital, providing support. Then, when Cyclone Ditwa caused our flight to be cancelled, Akila graciously allowed us to stay an extra half day free of charge. This level of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the values at Good Karma Resort. We left feeling not just like satisfied guests, but like we'd made genuine friends. If you're looking for a beautiful location paired with truly exceptionalcservice, Good Karma Resort is the place. We'll definitely be back!

The best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far , the owner was super nice he did everything he could for us and more . The room was very clean and shower had hot water. He prepared the best breakfast for us in the morning and arranged the transport for our next destination. Highly recommend

We spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely place — time just flew by. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with anything — from scooter rentals and transfer arrangements to great tips on what to see around the hotel. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, and there’s a nice, clean pool on the hotel grounds. The ocean is just a 5‑minute walk away, and the nearest swimming spot is about 10 minutes. The territory is well‑kept, with lots of greenery, birds, and chipmunks; we even spotted monkeys and monitor lizards nearby — the nature here is amazing. The hotel restaurant offers excellent cuisine with a diverse menu and tasty dishes. The bar serves both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic cocktails. I highly recommend this place — it’s a wonderful spot to relax, and one you’d definitely want to come back to!

The room was extremely clean and the outdoor bathroom was clean too. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The food at the restaurant is also amazing! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

We had such a great time. The hotel is very calm and clean. The pool is nice and there is everything you need and more. The breakfast was good! But the best was the sweet Sanjeewa who was ready to help with everything. He helped us with scooter, transport, breakfast and was always ready for a talk. Thank you for a really nice stay. We will recommend it to everyone!

Everything was provided in the room, kettle, fridge, har dryer, table, chairs, bed, mosquito net, warm water with good pressure. Even they had a badminton set, a jumping rope and a pad with internet in the room for the guests to use. The surroundings are peaceful with many possible animal encounters and amazing sounds during the night and morning time! Very friendly family running the business.

Our stay at Kayaam Wellness was absolutely fantastic. We booked the hotel spontaneously for two nights and were welcomed in the warmest and most genuine way from the very first moment. The food deserves a 10/10 – outstanding quality, beautifully prepared, and offering a great mix of traditional Sri Lankan dishes as well as Western options. There is truly something for everyone. The hotel has only a small number of rooms, which creates a very calm, peaceful atmosphere and makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The stunning pool and the direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach leave absolutely nothing to be desired. Every single member of the staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the guests. A very special thank you goes to the hotel manager Hemal, who went above and beyond to help organize several surprises that my partner had planned for me from Germany — all without my knowledge. Thanks to his effort and dedication, my stay was even more special than I could have imagined. The massages offered at the hotel are also an absolute must-do — deeply relaxing and perfectly executed.
