If I had to put it into one word, Tranquil. The pool is wonderful, Monica and her son are amazing hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the area and have amazing recommendations. I would highly likely recommend this to any couple looking for a great location and peaceful place to stay.

Conveniently located in downtown Cancun Bed and Breakfast Pecari is 15-20 minutes walk from the ADO station, 20 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes drive from the entrance to the hotel zone... It's was nice to stay at this cozy place. It's a standalone guest house with comfy shared area and nice fully equipped rooms. Located in a good neighbourhood. Also communication with staff was amazing. Pretty good breakfast is a good bonus. Parking is right at the place.

The room was big and spacious, with a 'bigger then needed' bathroom, and a porch (ground floor balcony) which is the entrance to the room and it is facing the lake. This is somewhat a positive and a negative feature, since there is a great view to the lake, but also the whole room is directly exposed to be viewed by others. There is a great common area, a wooden dock with a hut, a semi-open bar/kitchen, an outside water cooler, a short pebbled entrance way that adds to the nice atmosphere to the hotel. It is really great that there are 4 kayaks that can be taken for free to explore the lake.
