This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. The view towards the lake is wonderful and serene. You can enjoy the view also at breakfast, which was, by the way, very nice, varied, tasty. Coffee was also very good. Other than breakfast you can prepare your meal in a little kitchen and we ate it outside, at a picnic table, by the lake. The room.was very comfortable, big enough, beds with optimal softness/firmness. We slept very well. There was also a sauna - didn't use it because it was already booked. In the evening we could relax on the sofa in a cosy library and there was.also a TV to watch. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Historic Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad offers home-cooked Norwegian cuisine, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Voss is 25 minutes’ drive away. Such a cozy place, great Cuisine and very friendly staff. Absolutely perfect.
