The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of many amenities and the beach. The view from the room was amazing. The service was great, it is a very well run hotel.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. Property was exceptional in its location. A beautiful, spotlessly, clean hotel. Expensive, but this is Hawaii, and as a female, solo traveler, the location was spot on as I could walk everywhere.

It was my first time staying in a hostel in a shared room and I loved it. The staff is extremely attentive and always tries to help with any questions. The bathroom in the room is cleaned daily and the shower is excellent, which made showering after a day at the beach amazing. On top of that, the beds are comfortable, the bed linens are clean, and the towels are fresh as well. The common areas of the hostel are great for relaxing and socializing. I felt safe the entire time, and there are lockers inside the rooms to store personal items. Finally, the location is perfect—close to the beach and everything you need to fully enjoy Honolulu. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hostel again.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the window was beautiful. It’s only a 3-minute walk to the ocean. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

The property is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers everything you need for a perfect stay. The rooms were spotless, and all the amenities were top-notch. The hospitality was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and truly made our stay special. Highly recommend and would love to return!

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

The one bedroom villa was gorgeous and so well equipped. We loved having laundry machines of our own. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent and the staff , without exception, was so helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the services of Tanya, the concierge, who arranged a lovely boat cruise for us. For two of our six days, we rented poolside bungalows. Although they were very expensive, we loved spending the day there!
