Located in Bayahibe, a few steps from Dominicus Beach, Cadaques Bayahibe Family Apts has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. We originally reserved two separate apartments for a seven-night stay between Christmas and New Year’s. Five days before arrival, the host proposed one larger two-bedroom apartment with three full bathrooms—describing it as a “better” replacement. All card payment details had been submitted via Booking.com two months in advance. However, immediately after the cancellation deadline had passed—five days prior to our arrival—the host contacted us that the card payment had failed and requested to communicate directly via WhatsApp and to pay through PayPal. This immediately raised concerns about transparency. The cancellation at this stage would have resulted in significant financial loss, we reluctantly agreed to proceed. Ironically, our card later functioned without issue, raising doubts about the authenticity of the payment failure claim.The location at a busy intersection also results in consistent pedestrian activity near your windows throughout the day. Pro: The location is approximately 50 minutes by car from the airport along a scenic highway. You should note that there are several tolls along the route, accepting only local currency (not cards or U.S. dollars). The ocean was remarkably clean and warm, and the territory were well-kept, secure, and tastefully decorated. A small chapel added to the festive Christmas atmosphere. The apartment faces a beach, which was one of the main reasons we accepted the replacement offer. But there are not see view from any window, only from main door. The artificial reef nearby attracts an abundance of fish, and the beach itself was serene compared to the busier neighboring resorts. There are numerous cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. The area has a pronounced Italian influence—reflected in its restaurants, shops, bakeries, and local visitors—which we found particularly charming. The apartment overlooks a lively square with loud music from a nearby bar that typically ends around 11pm.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, barbecue and children's playground, Dreams Dominicus La Romana is located in Bayahibe, 300 metres from Dominicus Beach. We enjoyed all the amenities including the beach, the pools, and scuba diving conveniently close to hotel.

They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available for any questions. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

It was very clean and comfortable. Little kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is clean, balcony has a very nice sea view. Our hostess Lucía was very pleasant and accommodating. She helped us have a 0 stress vacation. The whole property is next door to the national park so you can see lots of different birds and walk down the wild beach. In front of the beach there’s an artificial reef very well made and it’s full of small reef fish. Don’t forget your mask and fins. We’ve had hours of fun swimming around the reef every day.

Soft ! Good quality. The kids enjoyed the kids pool. The restaurant was good. Loved the beach.

Þessi dvalarstaður með öllu inniföldu er á tilvöldum stað við ströndina og er umkringdur gróskumiklu suðrænu umhverfi. I m a repeater 8 times love this hotel, the food is mutch better now
