Set just above the coastline promenade in Opatija, the impressive Hotel Ambasador - by Liburnia Hotels & Villas provides free access to its Wellness & Spa Centre, which has swimming pools, a fitness... If I could sum it up in one sentence – this was the best vacation of my life. The hotel provides a level of service that always exceeds expectations. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with excellent soundproofing, all the essentials you might need, and an efficient air-conditioning system. Food deserves special thanks to the hotel team. The selection is outstanding, catering to every taste – everything is incredibly fresh, from fruits to desserts. The spacious dining halls with sea views make every meal a delight. Room service could offer a slightly wider menu, but delivery is impressively fast. As for the staff – every single person is professional, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. A special thanks to the management for creating such a high standard of hospitality. Parking. The hotel has a large public parking area nearby, but since the street is narrow, spots fill up quickly. I recommend using the hotel’s underground parking. It is tight, so if you don’t have much driving experience, it’s best to let the staff park the car for you (they kindly do this free of charge). Beach. The location is breathtaking – right on the seafront, with a private beach, crystal-clear water, and amazing marine life for snorkeling. In addition to the private beach, there’s also a pool and access to several public beaches nearby. Infrastructure. Opatija itself is a gem – a charming blend of Austrian, Italian, and Croatian architecture. The city center is beautiful, perfect for strolling and relaxing, with plenty of seaside restaurants. There are also shops, a market, and supermarkets (though parking in town can be a challenge). Prices are, of course, on the “touristy” side. In summary: we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel, the beautiful city of Opatija, and Croatia.

I LOVED staying at studio Antonija! absolutely lovely studio, super clean and well equipped, extremely well lit, excellent internet, very friendly proprietor speaks English and German and is ready to help with anything, 2min footpath through a park to the beach 🏖️ warmly recommended!!!

It was just a perfect stay. Cosy, spacious, clean, comfortable, fully equipped apartment close to the beach, with amazing sunrises and sounds of a tropic garden. The kitchen was equipped by hosts who definitely love cooking.

It has everything you may need for comfortable living. We spent there 2 weeks in August. The owner Marija is very hospitable. We have never met her, but we always felt that she cared about our comfort. ☺️ She offered bed linen and towels change twice a week. And she always added some gifts like honey, waffles, biscuits, figs from her own garden, even a small inflatable whale for our daughter ☺️ Very easy and comfortable self-check in and self check out. Good location. The building is just behind the Tomaševac beach, so it took us 2-3 minutes to get there. Only 2 minutes on foot to the supermarket Konsum and the next to Konsum - market with fresh vegetables. Private parking is provided for free in 200 meters from the building. About 20-30 minutes on foot to the centre, you can go along the beach and through the parks or along the street. We enjoyed our time there. Next time when we come to Opatija we’ll definitely come to this apartment

Apartment with a good location, close to the sea and almost in the center. It is spacious. Well equipped even for a longer stay. The bedrooms are clean, cozy with a good atmosphere. The living room with kitchen is sufficient, although I would get rid of some accessories and therefore dust😇. small minuses: there is no balcony, although it is partially replaced by bar seating by the window with a sea view. It is located on the third floor without an elevator, which may not suit everyone. The landlady is very nice, welcoming and interested in the guest. Overall, we rate the stay as excellent.

It is not large, but an exceptionally well-organized apartment with everything you need. It also has enough space for clothes, all the consumables, etc. The host speaks English fluently and is nice and welcoming. The beaches are 100-150m away, and for the location, they are easily reachable.
