We were made to feel very welcome and treated as if we were the only people staying. The location of our beach cabin was simply stunning…. We could see turtles swimming in the water from our terrace… literally 10 meters away. For an authentic stay I would highly recommend

Offering a barbecue and views of the sea, Sayura Beach Hotel is set in Unawatuna. The hotel has a sun terrace and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious! the view was beautiful and nearby beach had turtles we had the pleasure to meet. Food option was good. Tharusha was very helpful and courteous. The beach near the hotel is not suitable for swimming, a few meters to the left you can find turtles and on the right 15 mins walk later you can find a nice pleasant beach to swim and there's a restuarant which has a tree swing as well which was fun!

We’re so grateful to Rasanga, Saman, Tharushka and Rahia for being helpful and friendly! Also there was a dog Ricky that I called Kiri, we gonna miss him! We enjoyed our time on Delawela beach even it was the end of season and ocean was stormy! It was beautiful and I enjoyed swimming in waves! Breakfast was great with Sri Lanka's omlet and fruits! Also we loved that we had the whole water cooler inside our kitchen. It was a great start of our journey on Sri Lanka! I gonna miss this place!
