Brilliant staff and owner. Best live band I've heard traveling Asia. Music stopped at 11pm so could sleep well and get up early the next morning for diving, or could carry on at Escape a few hundred meters along the beach front. Highly recommend...will be back!

A simple homestay right "on" the Alona Beach. It is at the western end of Alona beach, across a cliff you will end up on another beach. And the homestay is on top of this cliff (with steps, maybe just 30-40 steps, very easy). So walking right off the cliff you are on the Alona Beach, around 10 min walk to the center of Alona Beach. The owner lady granny is extremely friendly and helpful. Helping me with my scooter, helping me renting my snorkel gears. The room is simple but with everything you need, wifi, hot shower, aircon. Plus it is really private feeling because it sits on top of the western tip of Alona Beach

Centrally located at Alona Beach, this resort features an outdoor pool, a massage service and water sport facilities on-site. Complimentary WiFi access is provided throughout the property. We had a wonderful stay at Alona Vida Beach Resort and would happily come back again. The location is absolutely perfect – the resort is right by the sea, just a few steps from the beach. Being able to walk straight to the ocean at any time of the day was a huge advantage and made our stay very relaxing. The food was delicious, with a good variety of meals and fresh ingredients. We also loved that there are many restaurants and cafés nearby, so you have plenty of choices within walking distance. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Housekeeping did a great job, and the room always felt fresh and well maintained. The hotel itself is beautiful and well designed. It feels like a small green jungle oasis, full of tropical plants and greenery, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. At the same time, the hotel is right by the sea, so you truly get the best of both worlds – lush nature and beachfront living.

It looks like it may be fairly new/ they were renovating while we were there so it may get even better in the future maybe with a cafe or something. There is a view of the water from the top floor, and location is right next to the beach

The room size was great if anything I had too much room being on my own the property is hidden away though close to all shops and the beach so definitely a great option if you want walking distance to everything!
