Hidden treasure at Kai Bae. Smaller resort, has its own small beach, but Kai Bae main beach is only 5 min walk. Cozy lights and free chairs/sunbeds gave the whole resort a nice atmosphere to hang out day and night. Fairy-tale like little garden. The smoothies at the lobby are fresh and great for a reasonable price. Our hut was clean, bathroom was nice with hot water. Free wi-Fi, drinking water and beach towels (you can take it anywhere) provided every day. If you look for a place where you can chill, enjoy the nice beach, but be in max 10 min walking distance from restaurants, cocktails and the most beautiful view point on the island, book here.

Mam Kaibae Hotel is situated on the beachfront in Ko Chang, a few steps from Kai Bae Beach and 14 km from Mu Koh Chang National Park. An amazing place recommended to us by travellers we met in Bangkok. The beachfront is one of the best I've seen and the infinity pool was lovely. The hotel is a little older than some but the location is stunning and the room was huge and comfortable. Enormous bed. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception person was kind and welcoming. Staff efficient and kind. Lots of free parking. Glorious sunsets.

I live in Thailand and travel often, so I understand that reviews can be very helpful for other travelers. The pool and beach were perfection. Location was also 10/10 with plenty of restaurant/cafe options and shops around. I don’t believe you need a motorbike for your entire stay, but super great to have for a couple days to explore other areas of the island.

We've stayed twice in the past few months in one of the beautiful bungalows at this resort. We liked it because it's located in a quiet area of ​​Kai Bae, close to several restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and willing to accommodate our every need. There was also a generous breakfast with a wide variety of homemade breads and pastries. A truly wonderful experience, it's a shame the weather wasn't so favorable. Thank you so much!
