Perfect location for spending quiet holiday to fully disconnect from everyday life. Close to lots of hiking routes in brengenzwalder not far from most bodensee highlights. The view from our room was really nice, we could hear the sound of the river while sleeping. Claudia was an exceptional host, she made use felt like home right away and is very efficient in every service/ info we asked her while showing herself super flexible. It is definitely a place we would recommend and come back to anytime we would go by the region.

A very friendly and attentive hosting. The room was in a typical simple, but comfortable mountain style. The bathroom also really big and comfortable. Everything tidy and clean. The beds a little bit too too weak, but ok for a good sleep and the outside quiet. So all in all a really great place to stay for a couple of nights. We get a great breakfast in the morning with all you can wish for it. Fresh fruits. yoghurt, bred, fresh bakery panini, fresh mountain cheese variety, meat, ham, eggs, honey, jam, water, juice, chocolate, milk, tea and a wonderful cappuccino or something else...what you wish to have, it was served by the friendly stuff. Safe parking place near by the house. Don't miss to eat at the delicious restaurant directly in the house. It's really worth it!

If you like a clean, nice, super friendly hosts and home environment to stay, then this is it! The appartements are located in a farmhouse (the very kind hosts are staying in a separate house on the same farm), there's a garden with flowers, lots of green and separate spots to relax (child friendly too). Beautiful views of the mountains and villages downhill.

Pension Barbara was the highlight of our four week motorbike tour this summer. The house itself is clean, comfortable, new rooms were excellent and we did not want for anything. However what made Barbara the number one place for us were the excellent hosts. This is the place to be for a fun evening and meeting people on the lovely evening terrace. There is a friendly atmosphere and all guests came to spend evenings on the terrace thanks to our wonderful hosts. We had one too many beers and fun times. Our room was spacious and comfy, with tasteful decor and all the necessary fittings and facilities. Breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The bed was extremely comfortable and quiet, which allowed a good night's sleep. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.
