It is very difficult to know where to start but we knew we had made the right decision to stay at Viilla Marguerite the moment we walked through the front door. It can only be described as like going back in time to an era of grandeur and decadence that is too often replaced by Ikea furniture these days. This grandeur and decadence was not at the expense of a feeling of home from home though and that combined with Caroline's warmest of welcomes, made the journey up the stairs to the suite that much easier. The suite certainly did not disappoint either and we took a moment to take it all in. Words are difficult to describe our experience over the 4 days and nights we stayed here - warm, comfortable, luxurious, rustic to name a few which still do not do justice to the efforts Caroline and Florence go to, to make you completely at ease in their company. And we cannot finish this without a big shout our for Florence - we spent 28 days in France and the best 2 meals were the ones we had at Villa Marguerite - by far. Why the restaurant is not busier is a complete mystery to us ! Thank you Caroline and Florence - we will be back. John and Anne Marie

They kindly reserved a superb dinner in nearby Cadouin at our request. We enjoyed use of their pool with amazing views over the surrounding landscape. The room was spacious with en-suite bathroom and all needed amenities. A delicious breakfast was served alongside the pool to likewise benefit from the landscape views.

The couple that manage the house is amazing, the place is deep into the nature, no noise, no smog, super quite and relaxing. The pool is great. They have chicken and if you book the breakfast you get fresh eggs, delicious!!! It is just outside the village very easy to reach. It is great for anyone who wants to disconnect from cities.

Breakfast was beyond amazing. Aurore, the owner, baked local pastries and delicacies for each of us. We had much more than we could eat. And the lovely setting is amazing. This is one of those places I'd like to keep secret, but it would be unfair to the owners. Really one of the most wonderful places I've ever stayed.
