We spent just one night at maison du voyageur, but we really liked it there! Our room was very clean and our bed was extremely comfortable!! :) The owner is very nice and he was happy to chat with us during breakfast! (which by the way was also very good!) The village is quite small, but very close to Les Quatres Châteaux de Lastours (which I also recommend) and some other nice places. I can only recommend this place! :)

Our stay at Abbaye de Capservy was idyllic. Arriving in the late afternoon, the light radiated thru the halls and our short wait in the reception room was a respite after navigating with only French on our GPS. The host, was ever so charming, and made us feel most welcome. Our room was very large overlooking the arches of the front garden and the surrounding vineyard lands and hills. The morning breakfast was very sufficient. Our request for dinner locations was immediately responded to with suggestions in nearby towns including a local market which we chose to partake in the food and local atmosphere. I shed a tear when we left because honestly, I didn't want to leave.

The place is very beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature. Every chamber have it's own style, we saw 3, and you fully rest there, excelent point to stay to go see the country by car. The hostress is a king woman that loves his job, you can feel it, will help in any thing you need, and the breakfast are fantastic. It's an old house in a old town, very cute ^^

We liked everything from the spacious and very comfortable bedrooms to the awesome meal at the adjoining restaurant provided by Serge. What stands out most is the tremendous care and attention given to us. Serge went over and beyond anything we could expect in helping us return to Paris during the transit strike. Marie is absolutely delightful and so conscientious. Remembering our stay simply makes me smile.
