This is a beautiful country house in beautiful grounds. The house is very much in character of its era. Our room was beautiful and had a loch view. When we arrived Crawford helped us enter the house. It is self check in. The town is about a fifteen minute walk away. I would book again. It was lovely

We stayed in one of the cabins next to the hotel, with parking at the door. Nice big terrace overlooking the loch. The bar was cosy.

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

The house is beautiful (and ok to use), especially the living room which has an amazing view of the lake. The owner (Marcin?) was so helpful and all of his suggestions were great. Breakfast, cooked by Marcin, is incredible and healthy! It was quiet, comfy and had everything you would want or need!
