Our stay at Mourayio was one of the most memorable experiences of our two week trip in Greece, in fact one of my favorite travel memories of all time. We had the top floor terrace and it was magical to see all the boats go by, the sunset and moon glow. Hector cannot be a more gracious host. He was super accommodating of our shifting travel schedule, and when we requested dinner to be served on the terrace one evening, he had everything ready despite a big catering event at the restaurant that required much of his time and staff. The dinner trumped many Michelin rated restaurants in both taste and ambience, it's one that we will never forget. When we asked for some local ginger biscuits for breakfast on our departure day, he had run out but rode his bike to the store and brought back an entire box for us to take on our trip. We are so touched by his hospitality and genuine friendship. We would love to go back in the near future!
