The staff are great at La Giara, Egla helped walk around the property explaining everything and showing every detail of the place and room. There is a great pool house with an amazing pool, amazing breakfast all prepared on site with local ingredients. We wish we could have stayed longer.

it was very clean and comfortable. the staff were great , helpful. we stopped there two days before to get advice on parking for a overnight to Malta. the owner allowed us to keep our car and luggage there while we got the ferry. felt safe. very appreciative.

Check-in worked, which is always a relief. Didn't meet any staff so no comment there. No lift and the room was up 2 flights of stairs but they were wide and not too steep so we managed with our cases. Wouldn't have wanted any higher tho. The door to the apartments wasn't labelled or numbered but we worked it outfinally. Lock into the entry was a little stiff and later after going out for dinner, we had some trouble getting it to work to get in. Soon after, another person from a different room arrived home and could not get the door to open either. We eventually went out and let her in and we all tried the lock again several times. Fortunately we were all leaving early the following morning on the ferry, so it was not of further consequence, but I suggest that the lock/key needs attention. The room itself was a little on the small side, butperfect for a nightor so; modern, new, tasteful and clean, and the bathroom likewise, with gorgeous tiling work. There was a small but functional kitchette for common use. Apart from a cup of tea, we didn't have time to use it, but there was a full fridge, microwave and other facilities too. The number one appeal to our room though, was thanks to the window doors and balcony with the sea right there beyond, across the road! We only wish we had time to use the table and chairs and sit there for a drink or so, but we needed to go to buy ferry tickets for early the next day. This was our reason for choosing this apartment; proximity to the port for an early ferry to Malta. We were to be there at 7 so left the apartment soon after 6. It is do-able, but is quite a decent walk along the esplanade, at least half an hour with cases. Nevertheless, we would recommend it, if only for the lovely beach view, even the next morning through the louvre windows of the bathroom! It is a shame we didn't have longer in Pozzallo.

We stayed several nights and found the room to be a great size and the location very handy. Everything felt new and clean. The bed was large and the bunk bed was good for our son. Bathroom was ok, but would benefit from some storage or a shelf. The air conditioner worked well and the mini fridge was welcome to keep drinks cool. We had a balcony and it was useful to hang out towels etc after a day a the beach. Breakfast was at Woody Cafe which is about 4mins walk along a busy street. We found that if we walked one street over, Via Galileo Galilei, it was much more pleasant. The breakfast itself was amazing! Coffee and a choice of one of their baked goods--cornetti alla crema etc Overall, we had a lovely stay, thank you!
