All of the attractions of the Wirral are close by, including the village of Port Sunlight, the Lady Lever Art Gallery, and the area's many golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake (host to the British Open in 2014). Everything. Bedroom was lovely, bed was comfy and the restaurant food was excellent.

Meerkat Manor is a unique property as it is part of a smallholding and guests are surrounded by various animals (sheep, goats, ponies etc) grazing in the garden. The apartment is spacious and self-contained. Although it is B&B rather than self-catering, plates, cups, glasses, utensils are provided. The property is very well maintained and well equipped. The host, Bernie, is very helpful. Breakfast is exceptional and is served in the room piping hot.

At Alvanley Arms, Cotebrook every room is equipped with a desk and a flat-screen TV. The room and bathroom were fantastic!! My steak and ale pie for dinner was lovely. And a full English breakfast was included in the rate. Amazing!

Higher Farm is set in Malpas, 18 km from Chester Racecourse, 21 km from Chester Zoo, as well as 25 km from Delamere Forest. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge for guests. Wonderful, relaxed holiday. Hospitality was excellent, breakfast was fantastic, facilities were great, lovely view from the breakfast room. I really enjoyed the 3 days I spent at HIGHER FARM B&B and recommend it as a place to stay while visiting the area.
