It was also spotlessly clean. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choices and the hot version cooked to order. The staff were helpful, friendly and respectful. And Guernsey is such a beautiful place.

Each room features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities, and ironing supplies. The rooms also benefit from an en-suite bath or shower room. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed it being cooked fresh just as I liked it each morning.

The town centre features cobbled streets and a picturesque seafront marina, along with a wide variety of places to eat and drink. Fermain beach can be reached in a 5-minute drive and is located on a 28-mile cliff path. Fermain valley is also home to a wide variety of wildlife. Breakfast was very good, great selection.

Boasting an enviable location by the sea and 2 minutes’ drive from Saint Julian’s Pier, locally known as North Beach, St Georges Guest House is a family-run guest house with free Wi-Fi. Free public parking is also available nearby. The accommodation is in a great location near the bus stop and the port, which is also within walking distance. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, which was delivered in a basket to our room door, overlooking the bay. There are also restaurants and a supermarket in the area.
