Located in Prevalje, 45 km from Klagenfurt, Hotel Hober features a spa centre and hot tub. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I thought this was a great value for money and a lovely respite for my hiking trip. It was so nice to have a big comfy bed, shower (with great water quality), and some TV to relax and rejuvenate. The staff was very kind and accommodating to guests. It seems they spoke English, German, or Slovenian of course.

Guesthouse management was very helpful and left my key in an accessible location in case I arrived early. The rooms facing the back are quite, and the breakfast was good with good coffee and a verity of food options to choose from.

We got the booking response really quick and they arranged a wonderful dinner for us. They even offered us to put the bikes into a non used part of the dining room 😀. We were on the Drava Bike Tour and actually it is one of the last places before you have the challenge with the alitude to Maribor. A place worth to stay, when you book in advance. The Lady there was very hospital.
