We were messaged early on the day of our arrival to inform us that our room was already available and that our guest cards were prepared. The cards allow free use of the local buses , ferries and chair lift on the day of arrival and departure. The location of Haus Lackner is great for accessing everything this wonderful valley has to offer. There is no need to use the car as there are a number of good restaurants in the village. The host is extremely helpful and provided an ample breakfast with the option of a cooked egg. We had room 1 with a small balcony and a lovely partial view of the lake. There is no road noise as the property is slightly elevated and set back from the lakeside access road behind the Lacus Hotel. A wonderful place to visit for 1 night or 1 week ! Cycling, hiking , paddle boarding or even fishing.

We were impressed by the kindness and accessibility of the hosts. They were ready to meet our wishes in every way. The location is also excellent - we went to all places of interest on foot (typically it took about 5 minutes).

Liked · Incredibly picturesque quiet place. Alpine mountain air and the longest lake in Austria. Knaller Möd is located in the center of Techendorf, directly opposite the bridge that crosses the Weissensee and leads to the ski slopes. I want to note the very convenient location of the apartments. We stayed in a studio for two, which is quite spacious rooms. The entrance hall is quite large, with a large wardrobe and a cabinet for shoes. Bathroom and toilet separate rooms, well lit. The main room consists of a kitchen and sleeping area, with a large balcony. Soundproofing outside is good. The kitchenette has a set of cutlery for 4 people, so you can entertain even several guests. The kitchen is simple, but the hotel has a large kitchen and dining area that can be used for more complex meals. The common area also has a children's playroom, lots of books and board games, a large terrace, Finnish sauna, ski storage, bike rental, etc. Good quality WiFi. There is enough parking space for hotel guests. The only grocery store is located in the same building and is open 7 days a week. To the right of the hotel is InterSport where you can buy / rent any equipment, as well as provide service. There are several good restaurants within a five minute walk. The hotel provides free access to public transport in the village if it is of course necessary and for some reason you arrived without a car. The apartments themselves have everything you need for a comfortable stay. With our room, we also received a Premium card, which gave us free access to the ship and free trips on the local bus and train..Private beach is a dream. And I really liked it, you can leave the car and do everything on foot . I especially want to note the incredible courtesy and responsiveness of both the owners and the staff. we felt at home. It's a pity you can't rate more than 10)))))) There is no doubt that we will be back. Thank you so much for the incredible hospitality.

Perfect location, you can reach café, restaurants, grocery, entry point for ice skating and ski in a few minutes afoot. Very clean and very cozy place. Decorations of interior and exterior are made with a good taste, here you really feel like at home. And yes, the magical lake view, which changes every hour giving plenty emotions and inspirations to the guests. Special thanks for Petra, for her warmth, care, availability and just the friendly conversations. You are the best hostess and a wonderful woman. This vacation was unbelievable.
