Luis, the owner, is the friendliest and the work he did for the rooms are amazing. You sleep in a converted bus and it is very comfortable. I wouldn’t have liked to stay anywhere else as much as I did at his in playa del coco. Definitely recommend. Thanks Luis!!

We stayed in unit #6, which is one of the upper level (two levels) rooms. Our balcony overlooked the pool and the distant view of the Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival we were met by Mark, the owner. He's a really laid-back friendly guy. The room was very clean and comfortable. After our first night, I mentioned to Mark that our air conditioning unit was noisy and rather inefficient. He apologized and had an all new a.c. unit installed the NEXT DAY! That's the kind of customer concern you don't see very often when traveling. We were very impressed. The daily room cleaning service is wonderfully thorough. The breakfast is made to order and very good... eggs, fresh fruit, beans/rice, juice, breads, etc. We enjoyed the pool very much. Because there are only 6 units in the complex, the pool is rarely in use, and we were usually the only ones in it. The location of the inn is great, very quiet, but it's best to have a car, as it is located up a long winding hill from local towns and beaches. For the price, this place is an excellent value. The nearby small towns have some good restaurants and the beaches are very nice and swimmable... no big waves. We really enjoyed the area.

Excelent place, near the city and super comfortable. Great for the price! It’s quite private since we didn’t have to see anyone and we had the pool for ourselves. The owner was super kind and gave us restaurant recommendations. And the place was cozy, beautiful and super comfy, we loved it!

We arrived at Casa Buda after driving to Liberia from Tamarindo and spending the afternoon at Los Coyotes; it was the perfect place for our family of 4 to crash before catching our flight the next morning. The rental was clean, in a great location near the airport, and was a great value for the price. We appreciated the secure parking also.

Breakfast was great. The property was extremely well groomed and landscaped. Small problem with the wi fi was immediately resolved. Family run business with clients' needs always priority. Spectacular garden setting throughout the property, and nice swimming pool. We had stayed there 10 years prior, and were not disappointed when we returned. The individual villas have octagonal design, with incredible craftsmanship, especially the interior wood structural features.

Nice private location. Spacious patio area with huge drying rack, which was great for hanging our wet bathing suits and towels on. Everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful and I appreciate how communicative they were via WhatsApp.

The property is around a 4-minute walk from Coco Beach, 23 miles from Edgardo Baltodano Briceño Stadium, and 23 miles from Marina Papagayo.
