Domaine de Marlas is a very beautiful gite situated in French countryside. There are a lot of beautiful walks around and there is even a river nearby, which can be easily accessed from the property. The gite is very well-equipped, it felt like being home from home. The host was very helpful and recommended lovely places to visit. Mirepoix is a lovely medieval town just a short drive away. There are a lot of good restaurants and cafes there. I really recommend Lac de Montbel, where we went crayfishing and swimming. A visit to Carcassonne is also a must!

Very good breakfast. Supercomfy bedroom in a precious restored old farm-house. The house is located in the middle of the forest so you can easily disconnect and restore yourself. We loved everything about this property. The location is so beautiful. The house itself is spacious and welcoming. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for two nights and throughly enjoyed it. We used the barbecue in the garden and the comfortable living and dinning room inside. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms have lovely hot showers. The perfect location.
