The place was really clean and cosy for a person from the continent /you know what I mean :) /. See you next time when we'll give us much more time to visit the splendid distilleries in Speyside. beautiful cottage. We are a family of six and for very nicely into the cottage. The kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and enjoy relaxation and hanging out together. Pluses were the freezer and ice trays! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. A relaxing getaway.

My wife, our furry friend, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Brylach Steading near Aberlour, and it was truly a delightful experience. Despite being a last-minute booking, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who had the heating on and the stove lit—a perfect treat after a wet afternoon exploring Glenmore! The house exuded warmth and comfort, with a well-equipped kitchen that provided us with everything we needed for our two-night stay. It was a relief to find all the basics readily available, making meal preparation a breeze. The location of Brylach Steading was perfect for our plans to explore the Cairngorms and the stunning beaches around Spey Bay (Lossiemouth, Kingston, Portknockie, ...). We were surrounded by natural beauty and had plenty of opportunities for scenic walks and adventures. We were particularly touched by the kindness and hospitality of the host, who made us feel right at home. Their thoughtful gestures made our stay even more enjoyable, and we felt truly welcomed. Overall, our experience at Brylach Steading was wonderful. It provided the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making it an ideal base for exploring the Aberlour area. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in the Scottish Highlands.

The staff were very welcoming and very accommodating. Due to adverse weather conditions, we had to book at the last minute . We were stressed from driving hours trying to get home. Everything was perfect on arrival, nice and cosy 😊 the people in the little pub on the side of the accommodation were lovely and we had little chats about the history of the property which was really nice .

Very good stay for 2 nights good value for money. Very relaxing and peaceful when we were sat beside the fire having a few drinks. Bed was really comfy. Highly recommend if you fancy a chilled night away.

The lodge is very conveniently located just when entering town. The host were super friendly and always interested to making feel at home. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, being spoiled with nice local breakfast foods (e.g. full English, egg omelettes etc.). All in all just a great stay!
