The location was close to the airport, a short drive into Kirkwall and centred in the midst of beautiful Orkney countryside. Sheena was very helpful and we will definitely be back to stay again. This is a wonderful place! It's beautifully quiet and the apartment is large, modern, and lovely. House is set in pasture land and the coast is within short walking distance. It's convenient to Mullhead and to the south islands, St. Margaret's Hope, the Churchill Defenses. Actually, with the size of Orkney Mainland it's convenient to everything. The owners are very pleasant and helpful and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The stay in Loanside was unforgettable. The location is very convenient for visiting the Mainland and for reaching all the islands by ferry. The house is in a very quiet location in the countryside, next to the owners' house, who are always available and very nice. The lodge really has everything you need and more, and is furnished with care and style: we especially appreciated the very comfortable bed, the large and comfortable bathroom, the fully equipped kitchen (there are plenty of dishes and there is also a washing machine with dryer). There is also a small utility room with an iron and ironing board, clothesline and hoover. The living room is also very cosy. We couldn't have asked for a better way to fully experience Orkney, highly recommended!

Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

The chalet was bright and welcoming and very clean. It was good to be greeted by a member of staff the day after our arrival to make sure we were ok. We enjoyed the view of the Churchill barriers and Italian Chapel and being able to bird watch from the window. It is quite close to Kirkwall and we can recommend the ice-cream shop next to the cathedral! It's a good idea to book ferries for day trips to other islands before you begin your holiday as they get booked up very quickly.
