Our stay at Ameiserhof was nothing short of fabulous. The location was perfectly situated near restaurants and shops. Ameiserhof is beautiful and spotless inside and out, authentically built and designed in the most tasteful Tirolean style. Our rooms were perfectly setup with all amenities for a most comfortable stay. But most wonderful of all was the host who provided every guest with attention, knowledgeable advice and suggestions for restaurants, shops and events in the area. The breakfast offering she provided was spectacular, making the best decorated cappuccinos and lattes we have ever seen. Breakfast included a huge assortment of breakfast meats and cheeses with wide varieties of breads, fruits and pasteries. What was most impressive was this hosts ability to offer a multi-course dinner and dessert with an assortment of mixed drinks and beers that will knock your socks off. To add to all of this, our host helped us out with ensuring we made our 5:00 am train in Bolzano by fixing us breakfast at 3:30 AM- WOW!!! She also arranged a taxi at 4:00 am!! What a FABULOUS TIME!!! If you make the wise decision to visit Colalbo, Italy- you MUST plan to stay at AMEISERHOF!!!

We (a family of 5 plus a dog) loved our apartment, and the hotel area and the kids' zone were fantastic. We also enjoyed the food at the bistro. The staff was always nice and accommodating. It seems like the designer of the whole complex had a real vision with excellent taste!

Amazing location, amazing view, clean place and great host. We got freshly baked cake everyday. Not to forget to mention the host, Aaron, he was very responsive. Staff were amazing and friendly but never obtrusive. Charming place: the decor in the room looked 1980's but was so spotless and well maintained it was as if it had just been decorated. The village is quite high and remote, but we were given a free pass onto the narrow gauge railway and cable car, giving access to Bozen/Bolzano.
