The cute little property is in a great location and is easy to find. The rooms are clean and there is a lovely common area for guests. The host gave us a book on the area and helped us find an open restaurant when we arrived late. Breakfast was a nice variety of bread, ham, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee.

this is one of the most special places I have stayed in my entire life. every thing about this house is authentic. there are beautiful orange, lemon and lime trees in a beautiful garden with a small pool. when you are inside the house you can feel it’s history. the rooms were clean and everything we needed was there. the host was very nice and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. if you are going to spend time in Penamacor, definitely book this place.

We had a very great stay at Grandma’s House! We were welcomed very lovely at our arrival. The house is nice and cool, and just like the photo’s very cosy in style. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everything was very clean and we were provided with enough towels per person. The kitchen is big enough to cook and eat with a larger group. The apartment is really close to the centre and everything you need is at walking distance. There is a car park just around the corner. Overall our stay was perfect, we enjoyed the apartment and Penamacor en would definitely stay here again when visiting the region.

This is the most magic and eco friendly place with a tremendous sense of peace and good will. Sandrine met us at the entrance to the farm and guided down to "our" place, and showed round. Sandrine and Julien built it themselves and there is care and thoughtfulness at every level. The goats and sheep faced us, the dog came and paid her respects, all could not have been better. Our hosts gave us oranges to squeeze, and fresh eggs. We enjoyed meeting them both enormously. And a bonus...the rescue donkey.
