Hotel was beautiful, location was perfect, and staff was very friendly. Rooms were spacious, and beds were comfortable. There were no mosquito nets but we had our own and there was a hook already on the ceiling - but to be honest, not sure if it was necessary as I hadn't seen or heard any mosquitos during our time there. Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional. Also, we were a bit surprised there was no alcohol on the menu at the seating area next to the pool. We were very pleased with our stay here!

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Stonetown, and the highlight of my experience was undoubtedly Shafi, the receptionist. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with tips and recommendations about the area. His hospitality truly made the stay memorable.

Beautiful sanctuary from the hurry of the city. Wonderful ocean views and easy beach access. This is a tropical paradise. Easy access to local fish market, great place to see the dhows come in and out. Huts made of sustainable materials, yet all the modern conveniences you could want. The staff is super friendly, gentle souls, and helpful and feels like rafiki (friends). They serve breakfast right on your patio and have lunch and dinner options here. We had such good food that we would just ask Malik, the chef, to "surprise us." Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He helped us arrange transportation to and from his lodge and has connections with tour companies to arrange any tour you might want to take.

The room cozy and clean. When you book this private place, you will receive emails regarding the owner phone number and direction on how to get there. It is just besides the terrific Chinese restaurant 宝塔丽, and we were impressed by the Cantonese cuisine there. Highly recommended for this hotel and the nearby Chinese restaurant.

The location of Kiponda is perfect for exploring Stonetown, being near the water and right amidst the alleyways we wanted to follow, and is also near the wharf if travelling by ferry. The staff are extremely helpful and upgraded our room to make sure we were comfortable. They led us to a great restaurant on arrival, and booked the spice tour for us, making life easy. Breakfast is served in a delightful, airy, open area upstairs with fresh tropical fruit, freshly brewed coffee, warm chipatee, cereals and eggs if you wish. A relaxing , hospitable place to stay. And the ceiling fans were great to keep us cool in the bedrooms.

first of all, the location of this place is just perfect for people who wants to do everything by walk in town! then, the room and bathroom are ok, the wifi and AC were working very good but above all, the person who manages this place, Junior, is just an amazing person, kind and so helpful that it will make your stay the best! I even extend mine twice! thank you for everything Junior, I will definitely be back!

The White Villa stands Out from its beautiful green garden but without being intrusive with nature. The garden and the Door Collection absolutely deserve a visit. the room was really well designed and furnished. you have really the feeling to be in a small bubble suspended out of time.
