Great location , the view was amazing. The accomodation spacious for 3 people , the bathroom clean, kitchen was very clean and has enough appliances.

Really clean. Spaces were bright and everything looked neat.

The reception staff was so nice and friendly, happy to help and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was really good, with enough choices for everyone. We also liked our room - small, but convenient. Everything was clean and having communal bathroom for entire floor didn’t cause any issues.

Had a wonderful stay at Berggasthaus First. We were only here for one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived for check in at 2pm, we were shown to our room (large glassy dormitory) and shown how to get to the facilities (communal showers) by very friendly and charismatic staff. The place was very busy with tourists until 5pm or so, by which time most visitors had left to get the cable car back to Grindelwald and the place was serene and peaceful with just hotel guests staying. We enjoyed a 3 course dinner for 25 CHF pp (tasty and good value), and everything ran very smoothly thanks to Domigo and other staff working there. We were then able to enjoy the sunset from the viewpoint/clifftop which was beautiful, and see a fox who frequents the area! We enjoyed the experience of staying in the large dormitory; everyone was respectful to each other in terms of noise and privacy, and the views from the room were unmatched. Would highly recommend people to stay here and hope to come back myself one day!

The hosts were gracious. The studio was comfortable and the view was fantastic. Good location away from the noise and traffic of the town.

The location was great with regular trains in both directions and an access to Grindelwald terminal and station. The views are amazing. The property was very easy to find 2 min from the station and the key was conveniently collected from the key lock.

The location was fantastic. Was quite roomy for 2 people & very comfortable. Y
