The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect - in a super cute street in the historic center or Cartagena. The perfect way to visit this very busy and lively city! This was an adorable hotel. The room was suprisingly quiet considering the location on one of the busiest party streets in Getsemani. I could easily walk to any number of great restaurants. The gracious hosts also provided me with drinking water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Everything about Charme 64 was fantastic - from the clean, spacious room with a mini fridge, large TV, and comfortable bed - to the lovely, small pool with lounge chairs and sunny patio. The staff was welcoming and kind - especially Luz, who reached out on WhatsApp a few days before our arrival. The breakfast included coffee, fresh fruit, a bread basket, and eggs or arepa de huevo. The sitting area inside is nice for relaxing. The location in Barrio Crespo is ideal for the beaches, malecón, and airport, plus there are many great, local restaurants that you can walk to from Charme 64. ¡Cinco estrellas!

Great location in the old city. Beautiful rooftop pool and Jacuzzi. There are only about 7 rooms in the entire hotel, so the pool is not busy. We were allowed to check in early when we arrived at 11am, and they let us check out an hour and a half late. Thanks Jose!!!! Fantastic showers and AC in the rooms. Breakfast was good. Includes a plate of fruit and then one item from the main menu ( pancakes, waffles, eggs, granola, etc). The regular coffee wasn't great so we ordered latte's which are extra (3usd) but we weren't charged for them in the end. Great bed and pillows. I would say good value, not great value, since we paid about 200$ a night, so the hotel wasn't cheap and we expected this level of service and quality.

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay in Cartagena, and one of the highlights was celebrating New Year’s Eve with our incredible host, Ofrey, and his lovely family. They welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home in a truly special way. Sharing in their warmth and joy made the experience even more memorable. We also appreciated the authenticity of the neighborhood, which gave us a real sense of local life. It was vibrant, safe, and full of character. The nearby food options were fantastic—we enjoyed everything from fresh local seafood to delicious street food, and every meal was an adventure in itself. If you’re looking for a stay where you’ll feel like part of the community while being surrounded by great food and wonderful people, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

    Everything was just perfect. Super friendly staff who is able to give you great lastminute tips for dinner and things to do. The location is perfect.. Ideally located in a small street (no noise) next to the main areas. Very safe. The room is very clean and perfect for a few nights to stay in Cartagena. Food was delicious and well presented.

    Location in the heart of old town, very safe (2 receptions and security to get past), the room was very clean, cleaned daily, smart tv, aircon worked (was actually 2 air con units!), bedroom was tucked away from the corridor so it was silent (apart from some construction upstairs..). Probably not as cheap as other places but for like £35 a night was really nice. Would defo stay again!

    Staff at this hotel is super professional and very friendly. They make you feel welcome and appreciated as guest. Hotel is very clean , good breakfast and comfortable overall. The location was good for us to either walk to the walled city (40min) or take a super affordable quick taxi ride (15min).
