Comfortable, simple accommodation in the area with a warm, friendly, helpful owner. The breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The owner suggested some nice walks for me to do in nearby Roggenburg. The restaurant looked very popular. Overall, I felt there was a personal touch when I was in the restaurant or asked for help. The owner went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Awesome place, perfect located for a quick stopover, still quiet inside the room. Top modern with great facilities, fridge, cooking pots, kettle, cups, plates, glasses, + a comfortable bed and a top modern design. Enough space for two, and super easy to check in with the code. Car park space right in front of your room door, super convenient and in case if needed a mc donald’s and car wash is also just next to it.

It is a strikingly handsome building right next to a Bavarian castle. It feels glamorous just pulling up in the car. Inside it has a grand yet cosy ambience, the restaurant area is all heavy oak woodwork and hand painted panels with local scenes. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, we felt comfortable right away after our long drive. It's a great stop off on a drive from the UK ferries to Italy or vise-versa. It's a five minute walk into town.
